MIF Supports New Research Initiative on Impact of Small and Growing Businesses on Poverty
Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs issues request for proposals

The Multilateral Investment Fund (MIF), a member of the Inter-American Development Bank Group, is supporting a new research initiative of the Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs (ANDE). The ANDE Research Initiative will fund research on the impact of small and growing businesses on poverty. The Rockefeller Foundation and the Bernard van Leer Foundation have also contributed support to the initiative.

The ANDE Research Initiative has just announced its first request for proposals, with a deadline of July 30, 2012. More information on the initiative and the RFP is available at the ANDE website

MIF General Manager Nancy Lee and Development Effectiveness Manager Sandra Darville participated as panelists in ANDE’s recent Metrics from the Ground Up conference in Washington, DC.
