Fueling the entrepreneurial drive of young people

URUGUAY

In Uruguay, youth unemployment is generally much higher than the national rate. This does not mean that young people are lacking ideas or drive, but rather are lacking access to financial resources and opportunities to make their entrepreneurial dreams a reality. In partnership with Institución Kolping Uruguay, this project gives entrepreneurial youth from low income families support in developing business plans and starting their own microenterprises through training, ongoing mentor support, and microcredit.
