Towards a Safer and Healthier Work Environment


ARGENTINA

Apart from the obvious toll workplace injuries and illnesses take on workers and their families, the ensuing medical costs and productivity losses also exact a price on businesses, affecting the country’s economic and social growth. To reduce occupational risks and foster a culture of prevention in Argentina, this project developed programs to raise awareness and train business owners, workers, labor safety inspectors and relevant public officials.
