Worker Skills Certification Program in Argentina


ARGENTINA

The lack of a skills certification system affects both the efficiency and transparency of the labor market, as it is not only difficult for workers to prove their competencies, but also for employers to verify them. Looking to establish the institutional and methodological bases for developing a national worker skills certification system, this project carried out pilot efforts in certification and training in four industrial sectors in Argentina.
