Harmonizing Technical Standards across Countries


URUGUAY

Buyers in global supply chains are increasingly demanding higher technical requirements for trade, which sellers need to meet in order to access these markets. This project aims to help SMEs meet these technical requirements and facilitate regional and international trade by harmonizing the regional, national and sector standardization processes in the regional trade bloc MERCOSUR countries of Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay.
