Promoting Young Entrepreneurs in Peru
PERU
While small businesses in Peru have a high startup rate, their failure rate is also very high. This is especially true for young entrepreneurs, who have limited experience and business skills, and who are also faced with the lack of adequate services needed to survive the first year of operation, and weak public policies towards entrepreneurship. To improve incomes and job opportunities for young people in northern Peru, the project aims to implement a system for increasing the number of youth-run sustainable businesses in the cities of Piura, Chiclayo and Cajamarca.
