Uruguayan Producers Reach Export Markets through Cooperation
URUGUAY
Small agricultural producers in Uruguay, who own between 15 and 20 hectares of land, generally engage in low-return, subsistence-level production, producing and marketing their products individually. In order to improve the competitiveness of these micro, small, and medium-sized agricultural enterprises, this project seeks to implement a sustainable and replicable model for accessing export markets.
