Promoting Marine Resource Conservation through Film
TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO
The sustainable use of marine resources is critical for island economies. This is especially true in Caribbean islands such as Tobago, where tourism activities are increasing, with a corresponding rise in infrastructure development and fishing in response to tourist demand. This project in partnership with the Buccoo Reef Trust (BRT) provided funding to establish an in-house film production unit, along with the appropriate equipment and training for studio personnel, allowing BRT to strengthen its multimedia campaign by creating DVDs, CDs and VHS videos.
