How can a company achieve lower production costs while at the same time produce benefits for employees and the environment? Through the implementation of cleaner production techniques. A FOMIN project in Mexico with the Instituto Politécnico Nacional (IPN) [National Polytechnic Institute] and the Instituto Tecnológico de Monterrey (ITESM) [Monterrey Institute of Technology] aims to make small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the regions of Chihuahua and Tabasco more efficient, productive and environmentally sound by promoting the implementation of cleaner production measures via two regional centers.
